Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician proficient in Revit and AutoCAD to join our team. The candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering mechanical drawings and must be comfortable working independently. Graduates or candidates with no experience in engineering design consultancies will not be considered. Please provide anonymized samples of previously delivered mechanical design work as part of the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and deliver accurate mechanical drawings using Revit and CAD.
- Work independently and manage design drawing production.
- Help refine CAD standards.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure designs meet specifications and standards.
Required Experience and Skills
- 2 or 3-year college diploma in engineering technology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in delivering mechanical drawings for HVAC systems or large-scale central heating and cooling plants.
- Proficient in Revit and CAD software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with either central plant or building HVAC systems.
- Highly detail-oriented
- Not afraid to ask questions / provide feedback
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Previous experience working in engineering design consultancies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Civil 3D
- Experience in GIS
- Interest in automating processes and vertical integration
- Experience in BIM
- Experience in Revit Families
